RANGER !
I have been on this world for five moons and am physically (and mentally. duh. I ain't no girl)
classified as a male. RiverClan is my home and to those whom know me, I am called RANGERKIT .
Hey, hey PRETTY BOY ;[/blockquote]
This tom-cat is formed by the plumpness and durability of an active, young and flexible feline body. Under the remaining baby-fat, muscles are beginning to develop throughout Rangerkit's body. His paws are growing at a rapid speed, signifying that he is going to be large, as are the bones in his legs. His limbs will be taken to full advantage for swatting opponents or swimming through strong currents, which he --like every RiverClan cat-- will be natural at.
A long tail extends from Rangerkit's far-back. A deep orange surrounds it with a pinch of white at the tip. Two ears lay perked up on his head, leaving Rangerkit to always look alive and observant. Which, with a typical kit's curiosity, always is.
A charming, puffy layer of orange stripes covers over this tom-cat's growing frame. His pelt remains at a short length, making it easy to care for it and leading it to appear as if it is in tip-top condition. That is if Rangerkit put any attempt in to it. With time the importance of his appearance of his pelt will become a main focus in his life but for now, it's merely something that keeps him warm on cold nights.
A pair of dark green eyes rest on this tom-cat's facial features. Though, they are anywhere from being unique or exclusive it is the liveliness that are shown in them. Ever head of the saying 'don't judge a book by it's cover'? Rangerkit's eyes can quickly deny that common claim. Just by taking a quick glance at his eyes, you can tell the liveliness and true personality that they portray.
three, two, one . . . ACTION ;[/blockquote]
Rangerkit is a down-to-earth, friendly, caring and kind tom-cat.
In lack of better terms, he's a modern day feline hippie.
Already, from his short four moons of life this tom-cat already has an optimistic and positive view on life; always pointing out the good things before the bad. His main focus stirs more toward the positive than the negative, leading Rangerkit to hold traits of a push-over and extremely gullibility. He will believe any shenanigans that come out of a cat's mouth for he respects cats and their opinions. He would never question a cat's statement.
Of course he does not mean to be so foolish or such a believer nor does he even notice it. If the cats says it right, they can get away with whatever they did, do or say or make the kit believe anything. Rangerkit is always out to please. He loathes making cats angry or disappointed in him. He will do anything to charm a cat which can lead to the RiverClan kit encountering tough situations. Yet, that doesn't mean he doesn't disrespect the rules. Rangerkit will gladly stand up for himself, when the situation seems like that is needed to be done. His loyalty to his clan is undeniable.
Going back to his 'hippieness', Rangerkit truly loves life. He won't spend silly time wasting it by being bored and aimlessly wandering around camp. No, not at all. You will always see this young tom-cat doing something, normally with someone. Though he is fine being alone, Rangerkit never rejects an invitation for socialization with a fellow clan member. He is indeed very talkative and once he starts going it's difficult for him to stop. An entire lifetime will go by before he realizes that his companion hasn't spoken one word as the only volume was produced by himself. That trait can be taken as a negative aspect or a positive. Negative, because sometimes he just can't stop, while on contrary, positive because no cat will hardly ever find itself in an awkward, silent situation with him.
the chapters of my LIFE ;[/blockquote]
". . . This one," The soft voice paused, taking a moment to silently determine her decisons
before she spoke, "This one shall be Rangerkit."
Rangerkit was born into your basic and typical happy family; no different than any other RiverClan feral cat family. His mother, Snowcloud, a kind and caring she-cat fell in love with the hot-shot of the clan, Flameheart. Soon enough, Snowcloud found herself resting in the Nursery, one kit, a male, suckling and resting beside her. But, this story isn't about Snowcloud nor Flameheart. It's Rangerkit's time to speak.
In only his first moments of life, Rangerkit could already tell he would love life. Whatever it brought, he'd love it. His earliest kithood memory was, like a vast majority of kits', peacefully snuggled beside her mother with a life full of milk and warmth.
Soon enough, Rangerkit's vocals kicked in. For the beginning weeks of his voice development, this young cat would babble on all day with words and sounds that made no sense. He adored the way the words sounded and their different volumes. He envied his mother and father's advanced language, wishing that his own tongue could produce such beautiful sounds. Balance came soon after, and Rangerkit was walking, or at least attempting to move whenever he had the chance.
Rangerkit was (and continues to be) your typical, too-curious-for-their-own good kit. He greatly enjoys exploring and can find great entertainment in anything. You bring him a stick and he will be occupied for hours. You tell him a story and he will be thinking about the plot, characters and meaning of the story for days. He loves having his brain tested.
Now only one moon away from his apprenticeship, Rangerkit is slowly parting away from his sweet kit-like behaviors and showing his true colours. He's anxiously waiting for the days when his surname is replaced with "-paw" and the greater freedom he will receive upon his aging.
