Name: Moonshine
Age: 20
Rank: warrior, I guess...
Allegiance: Riverclan
Picture:
Appearance: Moonshine has a light grey pelt with stripes of white that look like shafts of light falling through the trees. Her eyes are a blue as light as the sky, and her body is injury free. She is lean and muscular, with her tail slightly longer than normal.
Her face is flawless, with her ears being the slightly darker grey of most of her pelt. Her nose is a light pink, that offsets her sky blue eyes relatively nicely. Her eyes are rimmed with the white color, and her face is striped just like her pelt.
Her body is muscular from her many moons of training and work for her clan. She is light on her paws, and her paw pads are the darkest part of her physical self. She has a small birthmark on her left flank in the shape of a leaf, but other cats have not noticed it yet.
Personality: Moonshine is a very sweet and loving she-cat. She is very quiet, though, and doesn't trust strangers. She is very loyal and dedicated to the clan, and will always be there for her friends. She is very trustworthy and kind, and is always there to defend the clan. She is willing to risk her life for her clan, as her parents did.
She dislikes intruders on clan territory, but will only strike them down if they attack first. She is loyal to her leader, her clan, and her mate, but her only remaining family members have already been taken by Starclan. Because of this, she is very reserved until she gets to know a cat.
She despises any who show disrespect, and will stand up for her clanmates. She knows her role in the clan, but is not afraid to remind others what their role is. She is always willing to give her life to her clan. She is kind, yet distant at the same time.
History: Moonshine was born to Rainpelt and Dawnheart of Riverclan. She had one littermate, named Blazekit for his bright orange pelt. She was always with Blazekit. They were inseperable. They did everything together. As they grew older, that didn't change.
When they were apprenticed, Moonshine, then Moonpaw, was assigned to a she-cat named Rosepetal, while Blazekit, then Blazepaw, was apprenticed to a tom named Cedarpelt. They trained together, practiced with each other, and still shared a nest at this point. Still, the two were inseperable. No other clan members were all that surprised about that.
When they were about eight moons old, Moonpaw and Blazepaw were taken out on their first hunt. They were both rather successful for their first hunt, and they brought back the same ammount of fresh-kill. Again, they were always at each other's sides. Again, no cat was surprised.
At ten moons, Blazepaw caught greencough. He eventually recovered after about half a moon, but never completely. This was the first thing not shared by the two. Moonpaw was always by Blazepaw's side after he recovered, always there to protect and stand up for him when older apprentices decided to try and relieve some stress on Blazepaw.
At almost twelve moons, just before they were to become warriors, they were being assessed by the then leader when a small badger attacked. Moonpaw and Rosepetal managed to escape unscathed, but the greencough had caused permanent damage to Blazepaw's lungs, making it hard for him to breathe. Blazepaw's damaged lungs were his downfall, and he was killed by the badger, along with his mentor Cedarpelt, who had been trying to protect Blazepaw. When Moonpaw and Rosepetal brought the bodies of their dead comrades into camp, there was a feeling of devastation. Every clan member had known how close Moonpaw and Blazepaw were, and Moonpaw was there with her mother Dawnheart.
A few sunrises after Blazepaw's death, a patrol came back in. They had been in a border skirmish and had had to return to camp slower than normal due to injuries. The patrol leader had been Moonpaw's father, Rainpelt. One of the other patrol cats had brought Rainpelt on his back. Rainpelt had been killed by a cat from another clan.
Shortly after Rainpelt's death, Moonpaw was given the warrior name of Moonshine. Recently, her elderly mother Dawnheart passed on to Starclan, leaving Moonshine feeling more alone than ever. She slowly became distant from her clan members, and they did the same. She avoided them on purpose, and they did the same.
