Moonshine looks down at the spots where her littermate Blazepaw, her father Rainpelt, and her mother Dawnheart, had been buried. She lays down at the foot of Blazepaw's grave and sighs. "Blazepaw..." she says quietly, her sky blue eyes shimmering. "I'm... I'm so sorry... I shouldn't have left... I should've stayed with you and Cedarpelt..." She stands up and goes to Rainpelt's grave. "Father... Thank you for your service to our clan. I will always be proud... I will never doubt that I am your kit..." She turns to Dawnheart's grave. "My own mother... Dawnheart... You lived a full life and went peacefully... The only one so far... I hope I pass on to Starclan in the same way as you..." She blinks back tears and sighs quietly. "I should've done more... I could've saved Blazepaw... Or died with him..." A single tear escapes and falls down her cheek. Slowly, more tears fall to the dirt at her paws, and she silently cries for those who she had loved and lost.

Mistbreeze silently walked in the reeds, the water splashing her blue-gray paws. She was lost in thought, remembering things that should be kept to rest. She let one tear escape down her cheek as she recalled the death of her former mate, Ravenclaw. Though their love had been a secret, she still missed the tom and his love towards her. Mistbreeze told herself that she could never find another cat like him, but her heart was growing cold without the love of a mate. Her dream had always been to be a queen, Unlike her sister Silverpool who aimed to become deputy one day. Hopefully she could meet a nice tom soon, in Riverclan this time, that would love her for who she was. Mistbreeze's paws carried her to the place where all of the deceased Riverclan cats went to be buried. She noticed Moonshine, a fellow warrior like herself. Her head was bent in sorrow and Mistbreeze noticed tears falling from her head. She trotted over to where the she-cat sat and nosed Moonshine's flank with her nose. "Remembering loved ones that are gone? Yeah... I do that often too." Mistbreeze told the she-cat, pointing with her tail to the place where her father Ashwing was buried. She looked towards Moonshine, understanding in her Ice-blue eyes.
